Tower Defence Placement: The Rules I Learned the Hard Way
Most people lose tower defence maps for the same reasons, and I know because I lost the exact same way for years. The first fix is simple: place slow towers before damage towers. If nothing slows the enemy, your best cannons only get one shot each.
The second habit is thinking about the whole path, not the pretty spot. A tower at a long straight stretch hits enemies for far longer than one crammed at a corner. Count the tiles an enemy stays in range before you commit.
Third, don't spend everything early. Keep a small reserve so a surprise wave doesn't wipe you. I lost more maps to empty wallets than to weak towers.
Finally, upgrade over expand once your grid is set. Two maxed towers usually beat five weak ones. Try these on a map you keep failing and watch it fall apart in your favour.
